Description:

The Tornado is an underground approved rotary drill.

Due to its simple but robust build, the Tornado is easily maintained. It is also very user friendly and ideal for rugged environments. This is reinforced by a high power to weight ratio and a low noise level enabling output in a confined environment.

High torque ensures rapid installation of rib bolts and 'cracking' of shear nuts. Built with safety in mind, the Tornado embodies a vane motor which will stall under excessive loads.

Max drilling capabilities are 10m x 60mm, suitable for materials including coal, clay and limestone.

Air leg mounting gives pivoted mount for ease of use with leg assisted drilling and wet or dry drilling with scroll or hex drive rods and tungsten carbide or pcd bits allows for application versatility.
